Pride of ownership is important for your tenants to have. You want your tenants and prospective tenants to call the property their home--not a temporary residence or place they just rent from. If the community is proud of that investment and takes pride in where they live, they’ll want to contribute to caring for the property.
Grit goes hand-in-hand with patience. Real estate investing requires patience, and grit is overcoming adversity over a prolonged period. Sometimes, purchasing a property or renovating one can take a long time. This is a marathon, and grit allows you to withstand the changes and have the patience to wait it out.
